Active tool indicator
Shows when a browser “tool” action is in progress so users know the assistant is acting on the browser, not only typing text.
What this is
Below the timeline you may see a green spinner row with a short label. That means the assistant is executing a browser tool (tabs, navigation, etc.), not only typing text. If no tool name is ready yet, you may see Thinking....
How to use it
- Keep the window open while the tool runs; switching away may slow completion.
- Read the label to understand what the browser is doing (e.g. open tab, search).
- If it sticks too long, wait for timeout messaging or retry a simpler command.
Notes and limits
Some tools require a foreground tab or user gesture; follow any in-modal instructions.
