Echo guard
Short quiet period before capture so the mic does not pick up the assistant’s own speech.
What this is
Echo guard is a short quiet period before recording so your microphone does not capture the assistant’s own voice from speakers.
How to use it
- After the assistant speaks, wait for Ready / listening phase before talking.
- Use headphones for best accuracy in small rooms.
- If you get false starts, reduce room noise or switch input device in system settings.
Notes and limits
Echo guard timing is automatic; there is no user slider in consumer builds.
