Spoken vs chat replies (orb)
Users can choose spoken replies (TTS) or chat-only (text streamed into the main timeline); preference is persisted locally.
What this is
In the orb flow you can prefer spoken replies (text-to-speech) or chat-only replies (text streams into the main timeline). The choice is remembered in browser storage.
How to use it
- Toggle the mode in the orb UI before starting a session.
- Spoken still appends transcripts to chat after turns in most builds.
- Chat is ideal in shared offices where audio would disturb others.
Notes and limits
Screen readers may double-read if OS TTS and Oasis TTS overlap; pick one audio source.
