- Reduced motion
Reduced motion
Assistant UI respects prefers-reduced-motion for typewriter and motion-heavy affordances where implemented.
What this is
If your OS enables prefers-reduced-motion, Oasis reduces non-essential animations (for example typewriter suggestion cycling) while keeping functionality.
How to use it
- Toggle the OS setting in Accessibility to see the calmer UI.
- Critical progress spinners still animate enough to be visible.
- No per-Oasis toggle is required in most builds.
Notes and limits
Some third-party OS themes ignore reduced-motion; results vary.
